I’m just here to say thanks to anyone involved in this project. After 12 years using Linux I’m very impressed with this great distro. Polished Xfce desktop, functional installer, sane defaults, useful Pardus specific apps and vast repository make my workflow very good. Keep up the great work my friends.
PS: Is there a way to ask some deb based app added to pardus repository? My work heavily depends on Rstudio and Starcal. Both release packages for debian on their web pages. Would be nice if they added to Pardus repo so that they can be updated using Pardus updater.

As you probably know already, the strength of Pardus comes essentially from its rock-solid Debian Stable base.
At the moment there’s a modest level of customization and localization on top of this base, and we hope Pardus will continue developing at a higher pace in the coming years as nations around the world are becoming more and more aware of the importance of digital sovereignty.
I hope Pardus team considers and can respond to your suggestion to add RStudio and StarCal to Pardus repositories in addition to such other apps popular among Pardus users.
Meanwhile, the beauty of Linux is that users can make use of a simple shell script that periodically checks for updates, download and install them if the software itself doesn’t already have this feature, as you probably know already.
